Key

A sleepless ex-con hardened by the world, on the run and trying to free her soul from the promises it’s made.

“I want to be free. That means getting you to sign a piece of paper with a drop of blood, and some fingerprints.”

Sona

A Revelers scout, Sona tracks Key before joining her side.

“This place uses people. Chews them up and spits them out. You and the kid are different.”

Kellan

Kellan is the only child anyone has seen in years. Orphaned and alone, Key must protect him.

“Now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good.”

BRAND

A Lakota leader, left without a tribe, but fighting to protect their sacred land.

“Will the cash matter tomorrow? Can it feed the children you can no longer bare? Will it bring the water back?!”

GAEL

A ruthless leader of a gang called the Revelers, he hires Key to drive a Dirt Joust and get control of the regions water rights.

“You’re my dog, and that car is your leash. Don’t make us put you back in your cage.”

The Revelers

Gael rules this gang of outlaw bandits, who are hired to capture Key.

CHRIS

Key’s best friend and only ally. Chris is a long-haul trucker familiar with the region and the battle being waged within it.

“I love my wife Key, and she’s dying. Ain’t no kid, or water, gonna change that.”

CHESTER

A local landowner with one of the last working wells in the region. Chester refuses to give up his land.

“I don’t got much, but I have the only thing worth a dime these days, coming right out of the ground.”

Clutch

A Native-American ex-marine following Key.
